This is dry grown Gewurztraminer and Riesling with a splash of Pinot Gris (Grauburgunder in German) fermented together in old wood. A marrying of textural interest and flamboyant aromatics from these varieties, with a little residual sugar, make this a deliciously wild wine that is very compelling to drink.
