2022 Chard Farm Tiger Pinot Noir

The Tiger is drawn from a single north-facing vineyard in Lowburn, one of Chard Farm’s key sites. The vines climb from the valley floor on free-draining terraces, soaking up long days of sun and cooling down fast at night. That slow, even ripening builds fine tannin and plenty of depth without the weight.

The 2022 season was calm and balanced, giving fruit with great colour and purity. Everything was hand-picked, fermented in small open-top vats and matured in French oak – enough to shape the wine, not hide the vineyard.

It’s fragrant and poised, with red cherry, spice and dried herbs layered through a smooth, focused palate. The tannins are silky and well-knit, finishing long and fresh. A clear, precise take on Lowburn Pinot Noir from one of the region’s most experienced producers.
