2022 Combes Savage Garden Sauvignon Blanc

There's a lot to love about Yarra Sauvignon Blanc these days as good vignerons are seeking wines with flesh and depth as well as instant refreshment gratification.

Oscar Hermann's wild-ferment example is such a wine, flowing with citrus/ grapefruit flavours, supported by a stoney, mineral-salty mouthfeel. A bit of oak aging, and a couple of days of skin contact contribute complexity.

Sexy Sauvignon, and we don't say that too often.
