2022 Georges Descombes Beaujolais Blanc

The Georges Descombes Beaujolais Blanc is one of the best examples of Chardonnay in the region.

The fruit hails from the north of the region, not far from Maconnais. Descombes makes this with very little intervention allowing the natural energy and drive of the fruit to shine.

There is very little Beaujolais Blanc that makes it to Australia. This is one of the top examples that we do occasionally get access to. It has rich flavour but freshness in spades.

This is a gorgeous Chardonnay from an unsung pocket of Burgundy.
