2022 Glaetzer Wallace Shiraz Grenache

The Wallace blend is Glaetzer’s take on the classic Barossa Shiraz and Grenache combo - bold, generous, and seriously drinkable. The Shiraz (75%) comes from vines aged 50 to 80 years, bringing depth and structure, while the Grenache (25%), from vines up to a century old, adds brightness and lift.

To keep things fresh and fruit-driven, the Grenache sees minimal oak, while the Shiraz spends 16 months in seasoned French and American hogsheads. The result is a red that’s full of flavour but beautifully balanced, with plenty of richness and a savoury edge to keep things interesting.

A great example of what modern Barossa reds are all about - big on character, easy to enjoy, and built to go the distance if you’re patient enough to wait.
