2022 Jauma Birdsey Cabernet Franc

Birdsey is a bouncy little Cab Franc named for the McLaren Vale vineyard owner Peter Birdsey who grows this fruit.

James Erskine, the man behind Jauma, takes this Cab Franc into a mode something like the smooth, silky reds of the Loire Valley. It's leafy, fresh and frisky and made for drinking young, with a little chill if you'd like.
