2022 Jean-Marie Fourrier Vigne Comte de Chapelle Bourgogne Rouge

This isn’t your average Bourgogne Rouge. Made under Fourrier’s Vigne Comte de Chappelle label, it’s sourced from carefully selected sites just outside the Côte de Nuits and vinified with the same no-frills, low-intervention approach as his estate wines.

Wild fermentation, no sulphur during vinification, and élevage in neutral oak keep things bright and expressive. The 2022 vintage is fresh and finely tuned - red cherry, soft spice, and silky tannins all wrapped up in a light-to-medium frame. It’s easy to drink, but far from simple.

For those who want a real feel for Fourrier’s style without jumping straight into village-level pricing, this is a sharp entry point - clean, pure Pinot with proper lift and shape.
