2022 Torzi Matthews Francesca Grillo OV Grenache

Dom Torzi sure knows how to give a lot of bang for buck when it comes to his range of wines.

The Francesca Grillo OV Grenache is an old vine Grenache from the Barossa, lovingly named in honour of his mum. The grapes get hand picked from the 108 year old vines, then fermented in open milk vats (with 20% whole bunches) before being basket pressed to old Chardonnay barrels before bottling.

It comes out as a juicy number full of red berries and cherry, with lifted aromatics and fine tannins. Delightful, and extreme value for money.
