2022 Utzinger White Label Chardonnay

Mattias Utzinger was a globe-trotting winemaker on the hunt for the perfect place to plant a vineyard. During that search, what he actually found, was the love of his life, a Tassie girl named Lauren. Turns out Tassie isn't a bad place to grow grapes. And so, Utzinger Wines was born.

Based out of the Tamar Valley in the north of the island, the Utzinger wines are tightly wound and very well defined, this Chardonnay in particular.

In the context for premium Tasmanian Chardonnay, this is an excellent buy.
