2022 Vignerons Schmolzer & Brown Thorley Nebbiolo

After years of patient watching and waiting, the Nebbiolo vines from Tessa and Jeremy's Thorley vineyard has finally been captured in a bottle, and boy what a result we have here.

Nebbiolo in Australia has at times struggled to find an identity, but the high hills surrounding Beechworth, a region better known for quality Nebbiolo in Australia than almost any other, possibly could be this grape's ideal home away from home.

Such is the VS&B signature, this is fine-tuned, elegant, and full of detail. It carries a freshness and vitality unseen in most Australian Nebbiolo, without sacrificing any varietal and regional character. It's such a beautiful drink.
