2023 Arfion Pinot Grigio

Dave Mackintosh's Arfion label has a good track record with this popular grape, and his style really captures the freshness of 'Grigio' with the texture of 'Gris'.

Unlike the vast majority of Pinot Grigio on the market, his is very much hand-made from start to finish. It comes from a blend of vineyards in both the Upper and Lower Yarra Valley areas.

The fruit was hand-picked in the cool early morning to retain freshness and concentration, with whole bunches, older oak and some lees stirring adding nice texture and interest.

It's zippy and refreshing on the one hand, chewy and thought-provoking on the other. A quality Pinot Grigio from Dave and super value.
