2023 Bobar G-Blend

This is Bobar doing what they do best – keeping it simple, thoughtful and totally unpretentious. The G-Blend brings together Gamay, Grenache and Syrah from the Yarra, all grown without chemicals and handled as gently as possible in the shed. No fining, no filtration, nothing fancy. Just good fruit, wild ferments, and a bit of time in tank to come together.

It’s light, bright, and a little bit wild around the edges – in a good way. There’s plenty of crunch and lift, but it’s not thin or try-hard. It feels like the kind of wine you’d want within arm’s reach most nights – low alcohol, loads of character, and absolutely no fuss. Maybe chuck it in the fridge, maybe don’t. Up to you.

It's part picnic wine, part weeknight red, part something to open with a few mates and not talk about too much. Just enjoy it for what it is.
