2023 Christian Moreau et Fils Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons

Coming from a small plot of vines planted in 1933, the Christian Moreau et Fils Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons Guy Moreau shows wonderful depth and class.

Named after Christian's father Guy, the grapes are given the royal treatment before the fermentation, which is carried out in a combination of stainless steel tanks and oak barrels.

Malolactic fermentation has ensured that the wine has creamy flavours, with some prettiness coming from white flowers and stone fruits, and some citrus freshness. Minerality and acidity give the wine some zippiness on the palate, which is rich and long.
