Working organically and with painfully low yields Philippe Bravay tends to his Côtes du Rhône vineyards with the same love and attention to detail as his Châteauneuf du Pâpe vines.

And so he should! His nearly 100 year old plot is just metres from the revered Châteauneuf du Pâpe AOC, separated by a mere country lane. On this occasion, the vagaries of French AOC law work in our favour and this wine offers exceptional value. It knocks spots off most in its class and many above.

Predominantly Grenache with a sprinkling of Syrah and Cinsault this old vine cuvée is Côtes du Rhône at its best. A heady mix of spice, fruit, and perfume it offers all the richness of great Southern Rhône with a freshness that is often elusive in the region's increasingly warm climate.
