The Rocky Point Pinot is Prophet’s Rock in relaxed mode - bright, expressive, and built to drink young without sacrificing the detail this Central Otago producer is known for. The 2023 vintage brings a bit more lift and crunch, thanks to a cooler season and careful handling in the cellar.

Fruit comes from the Pisa subregion, hand-picked and wild fermented with some whole bunches in the mix. It’s aged in older oak, so the focus stays on the fruit - red cherry, wild herbs, a little spice - all framed by gentle tannins and that classic Otago freshness.

This isn’t trying to be a showstopper, but it’s far from simple. A properly made Pinot that hits that sweet spot between approachability and class.
