Here is Usher Tinkler's dangerous alternative expression of the famous Hunter Semillon wine style.

Usher left this on skins for 3 months in French oak before pressing, allowing the juice to pick up a bright golden colour in the glass, adding the dimension of tannin to the racy acidity that Semillon from this region is famous for. The result is textured and mouth watering, with a citrus tannin zing.

Bottled without any preservatives and without any fining or filtration, this is a Hunter classic reinvented.

The aromas are distinct from flavors, which teeter back into true citrus, though fresh juice of mandarin, lemon, and cumquat is mixed with dried versions of both. A touch of mustard powder spice also kicks through the long, powdery finish."
