2023 Vina Ventisquero Queulat Carmenere

Viña Ventisquero has built a strong reputation for clean, modern Chilean wines that still show a sense of place. This Carmenère comes from their vineyards in the Maipo Valley, where warm, dry days and cool nights help the variety ripen evenly while keeping its trademark freshness.

The fruit is picked ripe, fermented in stainless steel, and aged in French oak to round out the texture. The result is a smooth, medium-bodied red with plenty of flavour but no heaviness. You get blackcurrant, plum and a touch of spice, with that classic Carmenère hint of fresh herbs and soft, silky tannins.
