2024 Clarence House Pinot Noir

Clarence House has quietly built a name as one of Tasmania’s go-to spots for top-notch Pinot, and this 2024 release keeps that reputation firmly intact. Sitting just outside Hobart in the Coal River Valley, the vineyard’s northeast slopes and cool climate bring out all the hallmarks of proper Tassie Pinot: bright fruit, fine tannins, and that signature Coal River spice.

The wine is made with a light touch - wild ferments, a bit of whole bunch for lift and structure, and aged in a mix of new and older French oak. It’s got all the right bits: red and dark berries, a flicker of earth and spice, and a fine, chalky tannin line that keeps things tight and tidy.
