2024 Craggy Range Te Muna Road Pinot Noir

Craggy Range’s Te Muna site has become one of New Zealand’s modern Pinot benchmarks – a cool, stony terrace just outside Martinborough that consistently produces wines with depth, structure and that unmistakable savoury edge. The 2024 vintage carries all the hallmarks of the vineyard but with a little extra polish and lift.

Hand-picked fruit, fermented with a mix of whole berries and whole bunches, then aged in French oak (about a quarter new). It’s classic Te Muna – dark cherry and plum wrapped in fine spice, with that earthy, almost graphite-like finish that sets it apart from the softer styles down the road. The palate’s sleek and layered, firm enough to age but open enough to enjoy now.

Another reminder of why Te Muna remains one of the great names in NZ Pinot.
