2024 Renzaglia Nuovo di Renzo

Nuovo di Renzo is Renzaglia’s playful take on the lighter, fresher side of red wine. Made in the O’Connell Valley by Sam Renzaglia, it’s a field blend of sorts, bringing together fruit from across the family’s vineyards and letting it all ferment naturally with minimal intervention.

The 2024 is bright, energetic and built for early drinking – plenty of whole bunches in the ferment give it lift and spice, while older oak keeps it supple and easygoing. Sam has always leaned towards wines with freshness and personality rather than weight, and Nuovo shows that approach perfectly.

Unpretentious, lively and moreish, it’s exactly the style of wine that’s made Renzaglia such an exciting name in the Central Ranges.
