2024 Stella Bella Sauvignon Blanc

Stella Bella’s Sauvignon Blanc has been part of the Margaret River story for decades now, and the 2024 release shows exactly why it’s stuck around.

Grown in the cooler Karridale subregion, this wine dials back the usual Marlborough-style punch and goes for something a bit more nuanced – still bright and zippy, but with extra layers of texture and savoury detail underneath.

Fermented mostly in stainless, with a small bit in oak and regular lees stirring, it walks the line between freshness and complexity beautifully. There’s plenty of fruit up front, sure – citrus, tropicals, maybe a bit of lychee – but it’s the crunch and structure that hold your attention. That bit of barrel work adds a gentle grip and shape, without stealing the spotlight.

It’s the kind of Sauvignon Blanc that’ll pair with anything from fresh seafood to Thai takeaway, and it’s just as happy being sipped solo on a warm evening.
