2024 Wines by KT 5452 Riesling

Kerri Thompson's Wines by KT label has long been a reference point for Clare Valley Riesling, and the 5452 bottling is her most approachable expression. Named for the Auburn postcode, it’s drawn from a handful of trusted local growers and crafted in a deliberately bright, easy-drinking style.

The 2024 vintage in Clare was relatively mild, allowing the Riesling to hang on the vine long enough to build flavour while keeping that crisp line of acidity. Fermented cool and left in stainless steel to highlight the purity of fruit, this is a wine built for refreshment rather than cellaring. Expect citrus zest, green apple and floral lift, wrapped up in a clean, zippy finish that makes it very more-ish.

It’s not a wine that tries too hard, and that’s the point. For the price, this delivers exactly what Clare does best – dry Riesling with freshness, flavour and charm.
