2025 Dune Blewitt Springs Shiraz

Dune is a side-project from the Lloyd family (Coriole), focused on their estate vineyard in Blewitt Springs. This sub-region is defined by deep, sandy soils over clay, which naturally produces a more aromatic and medium-bodied style of McLaren Vale Shiraz rather than a heavy blockbuster.

The 2025 vintage yielded clean, concentrated fruit. The winemaking is low-intervention, utilizing stainless steel and seasoned oak to keep the focus entirely on the primary fruit and regional character.

The wine shows a bright ruby colour with aromas of blueberry, dark plum, and cracked black pepper. The palate is medium-bodied and clean, with a core of dark berry fruit balanced by fine, sandy tannins and fresh acidity. It is an honest, well-made Shiraz that offers excellent value for daily drinking.
