2025 Punt Road Chardonnay

Punt Road always seems to nail that sweet spot of Yarra Valley Chardonnay - really smart quality without the eye-watering price tag.

This 2025 release comes from a warm, dry season that gave the fruit a bit more richness than usual, but it still feels bright and light on its feet. The fruit is all estate-grown and fermented naturally, with some time on lees to build out the mid-palate.

You get plenty of lemon and white stone fruit, but there’s a nice savoury, toasted almond edge that keeps things interesting. It’s generous for sure, but the natural acidity is still right there to keep things tight and focused.

It’s just a really polished, easy-to-like Yarra Chardy. Not life-changing but a lovely drink and super value.
