2026 Swinging Bridge #009 Gamay

Tom Ward’s #009 Gamay is a delicious expression of this underappreciated grape. Originally sourced from cuttings from the iconic Loggerheads vineyard in the Hunter Valley, this Gamay now calls the cool-climate slopes of Orange home, where it thrives under Tom’s watchful eye.

The 2026 vintage delivers a pitch-perfect balance of juicy, red-fruited energy and subtle earthy depth. It’s light-bodied and vibrant, bursting with cranberry, strawberry and a gentle herbaceous note that gives it extra lift and interest. Winemaking is focused on brightness and texture - whole berries, cold soak, and a cool ferment keep things fresh and pretty.

An Aussie Gamay that’s as food-friendly as it is smashable, it’s a playful but serious wine that deserves a big glass and a chilled-down roast chook.
