NV Tissot Macvin du Jura Pinot Noir

The unique fortified Macvin wines of the Jura are the perfect treats to end a late night or accompany a dessert. It's made by adding unfermented grape juice to marc brandy, then letting the combination sit to age in oak.

This one from Tissot involves Pinot Noir from 30 year old biodynamically farmed vines. They get hand-picked, destemmed and macerated for around 10 days before the addition of brandy.

An undeniably special thing - fruity, unctuous, full of spice and intensity.
