The 2016 vintage at Gilbert was Will Gilbert's first harvest at home since his trip to Burgundy.
It was a pivotal vintage where he started to leave his thumbprint on his family label. This Chardonnay was one of his babies that he has held back for a museum release to show just how well these super high altitude Chardonnays can age.
It's a glorious Chardonnay now in full flight.
