2020 Slope Klima Grenache Syrah

Thibaud Capellaro’s Slope wines are a marvellous new wave addition to the rich traditions of wines from the Rhone.

Though clad with street art labels from local Lyonnaise lads, there’s no gimmicks here. Fruit comes from 60-year-old, organically farmed Grenache and Syrah vines.

With swirls of spiced red fruit and raspberry licorice, these are lovely, bright and energetic reds with subtle structure.
