2021 Dominique Piron Morgon Cote du Py

Four centuries of Pirons have grown and made wine in Beaujolais, with the latest, Dominique Piron, being the fourteenth generation.

Cote du Py lies in the heart of Morgon, with the oldest soils in Beaujolais, filled with rocky, blue stone. It's well-regarded for crafting delicious, structured wines with powerful flavours, and considerable ageing potential.

This wine by Piron can be considered his finest cuvee, and one of the finest expressions of Morgon from a living legend of the region.

This is a very fine Cru Beaujolais that should be savoured with fine glassware and even finer friends.
