2021 Lulu Vigneron Poulsard

Lulu Vigneron releases tiny volumes of powerful whites and delicate, brisk reds... such as this Poulsard.

Made with parcels of fruit from three tiny vineyards ranging from 25-55 years old, its whole bunch fermented before gentle pressing and being set to age in old wood for 8 months.

There is a bounce of red fruits here (a new collective noun we just invented), with tangy cranberries to the fore. There is an earthy wildness and a light whole bunch grip too, all within a very loose-knit framework,
