2021 Maretti Barolo

Produced by the winemakers behind the famed wines of Mirafiore and Fontanafredda, the Maretti label has signified exceptional value from Piedmont since it was first imported to Australia.

Unsurprisingly, given this producer's incredible track record for over-delivering for the price, this Barolo comes in at a very modest price when compared to the rest of the region.

It's classically styled, too. A sea of red fruit, licorice, orange peel and fine, dusty tannin that will continue to evolve in bottle for the next decade plus. 

An absolute bargain from a wonderful Barolo vintage.
