2022 Jamsheed Apricity Vermentino

One of the more recent additions to the Jamsheed range of wines; Apricity (The warmth of the winter sun), are all about contemporary winemaking with a range of grapes from across Victoria.

Vermentino that spends five-days on skins before hanging out on barrel for half the year. A textural feast in the bottle. It’s rich and full of life, something out of the box for this variety. This fruit from the Chalmers vineyard in Heathcote has been put to very good use with this wine.

Gary Mills always seems to be at the forefront of what is new and exciting in the Australian wine scene, and these Apricity wines are just another example of that.
