2022 Philippe Pacalet Ladoix Rouge

The Philippe Pacalet Ladoix Rouge is one of his most popular wines, with a richness, florality and presence in the mouth that all Pinot Noir lovers should appreciate.

Sourced from an organic vineyard teeming with limestone, the bush vines (ie. not trellised) have an average age of 50 years and are farmed organically (although not certified, but the lack of red tape shouldn't matter). Roundness in the mouth and superb structure are two characteristics that are always present in this wine.

Garnet with some purple highlights, florals, cherries and raspberries are prominent, and there's a touch of pepper spice. It's elegant, ripe and balanced, making for a thoroughly pleasurable drink.
