2023 Campagnola Gambellara Classico

From one of Veneto’s most consistent family producers, this is a great little white that punches well above its price. Made entirely from Garganega grown on volcanic soils in the hills east of Soave, it’s a clean, honest expression of northern Italy - bright fruit, subtle texture, and just the right amount of character.

Everything’s done gently here: cool fermentation in stainless steel to preserve freshness, then a short rest on lees to build a bit of weight. The result is crisp and mineral with flavours of pear, almond, and lemon peel, finishing dry and a touch saline. It’s uncomplicated in the best way - refreshing, balanced, and built for easy drinking.

If you love Soave but want something a little leaner and more direct, this is right in that zone. Perfect with grilled seafood or just a glass on its own at the end of the day.
