2024 Kooyong Massale Pinot Noir

Kooyong’s Massale Pinot Noir is a smart introduction to Mornington Peninsula Pinot - vibrant, finely crafted, and unmistakably regional. Sourced from the Tuerong and Balnarring vineyards, it’s a blend that showcases the best of the Peninsula’s diverse terroir.

The 2024 vintage saw mild conditions and smaller yields, but the fruit that did come in was exceptional. Gentle destemming, a splash of whole bunches, and wild fermentation gave the wine its structure and lift, with ten months in seasoned French oak adding just the right amount of polish.

This is a Pinot that walks the line between approachability and complexity. It’s packed with bright red fruits - strawberry, cherry, a hint of plum - with subtle spice and earthy depth from the whole bunches and oak.
