2025 Craggy Range Martinborough Pinot Noir

While some Martinborough Pinots demand years in the cellar, Craggy Range’s regional release is all about immediate, effortless charm. Sourced from the iconic stony, limestone-flecked soils of Te Muna Road, it captures the distinct Martinborough earthiness without losing its bright, juicy core.  

The 2025 vintage benefited from a slow, even ripening period, delivering a wine that feels both polished and energetic. It’s packed with red cherry and raspberry notes, layered with a touch of savoury spice and acacia. A portion of whole bunches and large wooden cuves ensures the wine has structure and slinky tannins while keeping the fruit front and centre.  

It’s a more relaxed, approachable sibling to their single-vineyard bottlings, designed for pure drinkability. We’ve long admired how Craggy Range manages to make wines of such aromatic clarity and finesse that still feel completely unpretentious.
