2025 Kalleske Zeitgeist Shiraz

Zeitgeist is essentially Kalleske bottling the vintage exactly as it happened. It’s a pretty simple concept - take organic Shiraz from the family’s Greenock farm, ferment it wild, and get it into bottle without seeing a splinter of oak or any preservatives. It’s the raw footage of the season.

The 2025 vintage was a warm, dry one with some heavy frosts early on that really cut back the yields. That meant an early finish to harvest, but the fruit that came off was intense. This is sourced from the same blocks that go into their heavy hitters like the Eduard - vines dating back to 1905 - so the pedigree is undeniable.

Because it hasn't been weighed down by barrel aging, it’s all about immediate energy. It pours pitch black and tastes like pure, unadulterated Shiraz fruit. There’s no sulphur added either, so it’s as natural as they come. The whole point here is freshness, so don't bury it in the cellar - drink it while it's lively.
