A wonderful, youthful counterpoint to the older Palo Cortado releases from Equipo Navazos.
It's Palomino from the chalky, salty soils of Sanlucar, matured at local bodega Rainera Pérez Marín. It is a very rare single vineyard, single vintage wine - 2020 from Pago Miraflores La Baja, but of course that can't be mentioned on the bottle...
Fresh, delicate and ethereal with just the right amount of sweetness and alcohol (18%). Could age for many years, but as an interesting aperitif this would be hard to beat.
