NV Vino Volta Intimations of Immortality Liqueur Verdelho

Vino Volta is the project of Garth Cliff, who’s been working the Swan Valley for years with a focus on old vines and the region’s heritage grapes. This liqueur Verdelho fits that outlook perfectly. It’s drawn from parcels that have been fortified and then left to sit quietly in seasoned oak, slowly developing into something layered and complex.

The style is all about depth without overcomplication. You’ll find raisin, fig and roasted nut characters, with toffee and spice sliding in behind. It’s sweet and concentrated, but there’s enough grip and freshness to stop it from feeling heavy.

Made in very small volumes, it’s a wine that connects Swan Valley’s fortified past with Garth’s modern, thoughtful approach to making wines that matter in their place.
